Back with #AskExtremeRoss, @cnatrigirl_ asked a question a while back that I’ll paraphrase. She basically wanted to know since the U-2 falls under Air Combat Command, if other organizations such as Space Force could use U-2 stuff.

Basically the answer is yes, whoever has a need and clearance for the products that come from the U-2, generally has access to that information. That could be a small unit on the ground all the way up to the president. The U-2 is just a collector, there is a whole distributed team on the ground that processes, exploits, and disseminates that intelligence. As the pilot, we work closely with a few individuals on that team in real time to keep the mission on track and adapt as necessary to changes in the area.
